By the year 2010 there will be 50 to 75 million people worldwide infected with HIV and Aids 2.5 million people between the ages of 15 and 24 are digignosed with HIV every year. Over 5 people per minute become infected with HIV half of all new infections in the USA incur in people 25 years old or younger. Worldwide over 5,000 people die from AIDS everyday. In Washington, DC 1:20 people are living are living with HIV and AIDS. Young American’s between the ages of 13 and 24 are contracting HIV at a rate of 2 per hour.
